Denver International Airport to Lion Square Lodge
1. Take Pena Boulevard from airport to Interstate 70 West (towards Grand Junction).
2. Stay on I-70 West approximately 120 miles to exit 176 (main Vail ski area exit).
3. At the bottom of the ramp, go 3/4 of the way through the traffic circle so that you go under the highway's underpass.
4. At the second traffic circle, stay to the right and take the first exit onto South Frontage Road towards Lionshead.
5. Travel on South Frontage for about a mile until you drive under the pedestrian bridge that goes over both I-70 and South Frontage Road then take the immediate left after the pedestrian bridge onto West Lionshead Circle.
6. Take the first left onto West Lionshead Place, between Montaneros and Marriott, towards the Antlers hotel.
7. Follow the road past the Antlers hotel (up the hill to the left) and the road leads to our parking lot.
The whole trip will take between 2 and 1/2 hours.
Directions to the Lion Square Lodge from Eagle County Airport
1. From the airport access road, turn right onto US Highway 6, into the town of Eagle.
2. Proceed into the roundabout and follow the signs to I-70 East.
3. Stay on I-70 East about 40 miles to exit 173 (West Vail).
4. At the bottom of the ramp, go 1/2 way around the traffic circle, staying in the right lane, and take the 2nd exit onto South Frontage Road towards Lionshead.
5. Travel on South Frontage for about 2 miles until you see the pedestrian bridge that goes over both I-70 and South Frontage Road.
6. Turn right just BEFORE the pedestrian bridge onto West Lionshead Circle. Take the first left onto West Lionshead Place, between Montaneros and Marriott, towards the Antlers hotel.
7. Follow the road past the Antlers hotel (up the hill to the left) and the road leads to our parking lot.
The whole trip will take between 40 and 45 minutes.
